Salary of Air Hostess in Ghana
Air Hostess salary is being influenced by certain factors. For instance, an air Hostess working with international flight will likely earn more than a local air Hostess. Also, an experience air Hostess is likely to receive higher salary than that of an entry-level Hostess.
The average monthly salary of an air hostess in Ghana typically ranges from GHS 2,000 to GHS 5,000. However, as I said earlier, the exact amount varies based on several factors, including experience, the airline, job role, and location of the airline’s base.
Entry-level air hostesses can expect to earn on the lower end of this range, while experienced flight attendants or those working with international airlines may earn closer to or above GHS 5,000.
Entry-Level Salary usually ranges from: GHS 2,000 - GHS 3,000 per month while that of an experienced Hostess is usually between GHS 3,500 - GHS 5,000 per month.
Some airline company may pay their attendants as high as ¢7,000 to ¢10,000 per month. It is all about the airline company, experience, location and many other factors.
Flight attendants or air Hostesses who fly in long hours are likely to receive more salary than those with shorter hours. International flights usually offer higher compensation due to longer hours and additional allowances.

Despite having a lucrative salary as an air Hostess, the job also comes with several challenges. Some of the challenges are long hours on flights without enough sleep, sleep irregularities, and mostly time spent away from family and friends.
How to Become an Air Hostess in Ghana
If you are looking to become an air Hostess in this country, all you need is to pass your West African Examination Council exams with at least C6 in all the subjects. After passing your exams, the next step is to apply to one of the flight attendant training colleges in Ghana.
Air Hostess are recommended to have at least WASSCE qualification, an excellent communication skills, and a customer service-oriented attitude.
During your training, you will learn about emergency controls, safety procedures and hospitality practice. The good news is there are at least 4 of these air Hostess training schools in Ghana.
